The CAPP program is intended for students who have a strong interest in learning skills to use policy analysis, data, and technology to address the challenges of the public sector, social issues, and government efficiency.
As with the Harris Master of Public Policy program and the Master of Science in Computer Science programs, students need to have significant undergraduate and professional achievements, including strong quantitative skills. While students with a background in computer science are welcome in the program, applicants are not expected to have a background in computer science prior to joining the program.
Applicants are required to complete an application form and submit GRE/GMAT scores, transcripts of all coursework, a resume, three letters of reference, and answer two brief essay questions using an on-line admissions system.
